ABOUT ME
I’m Emanuel, proud winner of the best-dressed award in 7th and 12th grade. I was born and raised in Kansas City. I grew up in a Cuban household listening to reggaeton and watching telenovelas with my mom, which is when I first knew I wanted to dive into the world of entertainment. I was living for the drama, but it also made me realize the importance of representation and accessibility. Without Spanish-language content from Univision or Telemundo, who knows where my mom would’ve gotten her news or her daily dose of theatrics!
Fast-forward to now, I’m a multicultural publicity coordinator for film and TV at Netflix. Before this, I was a digital publicity assistant at Focus Features. I’ve interned and produced social marketing content featured on Nickelodeon, Latin GRAMMYs, and Billboard Latin. I’m also a former page at NBCUniversal where I worked on Awards Publicity at Peacock, Digital Video at E! News, and Digital Publicity at Focus Features. I hope to continue working in marketing and publicity and make my impact on the entertainment industry through representation and content accessibility.
