Social Creative Marketing Intern, June 2022 – November 2022
As a Nicktern, I produced and edited over 50 social media spots for Nickelodeon’s 60 million followers across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok. I worked with other producers, designers, and stakeholders, including legal and talent, ensured content was up to standards, and addressed notes promptly to keep up with the social posting schedule. I created content for new and old Nickelodeon IP including Spongebob 🧽, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 🐢, Avatar 💨, The Loud House 🏠, and many more to drive audiences to new releases and instill nostalgia to revisit past content on Paramount+.
MY TIME ON SET
In my Nicktern era, I also assisted with on-set content capture and talent shoots including That Girl Lay Lay and Danger Force.
With That Girl Lay Lay, I helped the team with pre-production scripting and capturing behind-the-scenes on-set to create content promoting her consumer products. We delivered videos, stories, and stills to Amazon, Kohl’s, Target, and Walmart. They saw a 40% increase in sales after the shoot.
The Social Creative team also produced a shoot to promote the release of That Girl Lay Lay’s EP and created TikToks, Instagram Reels, and more.
OTHER MISCELLANEOUS NICKTERN THINGS
During my time at Nick, I attended Vidcon to help capture content promoting Monster High: The Movie, working with talent and Paramount+. At Vidcon, we produced TikToks and Instagram Reels with talent and coverage of the Monster High: The Movie activation. Oh, and I got a cool bucket hat.
Bucket hat aside, I also worked with other Nickterns on the social team to create a campaign strategy for Nick’s upcoming series The Really Loud House launching in November 2022. For the project, I designed the deck as well as created mockups to visualize the social media rollout.
