Freelance Producer, November 2021 – Present
Communications Associate, April 2021 – November 2021
As part of the Latin Recording Academy’s partnership with the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, I was tasked to create an educational campaign regarding the Latin Recording Academy’s Latin GRAMMY Awards process.
Latin Recording Academy Fellowships provide opportunity for bilingual students with a love of music

The campaign began with research, where I interviewed executives and members of the Academy to learn about the process. I planned and organized the campaign and decided on the appropriate deliverables according to social media analytics.
The team delivered a trilingual (English, Spanish, and Portuguese) digital spread for the award show’s program book (layout designed by me), a series of social media posts, artist/talent videos (interview questions scripted and video edited by me), and the official Latin Recording Academy’s Youtube trailer (also edited by me).
The campaign spanned over the course of two months leading up to the award show.
LATIN GRAMMY AWARDS LIVE COVERAGE
Following the educational campaign, the cohort was invited to the 22nd Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards to assist with coverage of the red carpet and show. I was in charge of filming and editing red carpet reels and highlights for TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook, and helped in the media center with one on one interviews.
Me and two other interns were also interviewed by TikTok representatives about our experience interning and the awards process.
I was invited back as a freelance producer to the 23rd Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards to cover the Person of the Year Gala, Leading Ladies Luncheon, Best New Artist Showcase, and the live telecast of the Latin GRAMMY Awards.
I filmed and edited a total of 10 reels, five of which performed 200% above their benchmark goals on Twitter.
